2'x2' Bluestone patio with 12" granite treads as boarder

This project tools were in my garage and the materials cost $5,000 bought me granite about 10 0LF , bluestone(67) pieces) and 9 cy of fine stone. I also rented a gas powered tamper from Home Depot.

 I excavated 8" deep and removed all roots and topsoil. I placed the overburden around the patio to raise the grade.  Made sure the slope was 1/8 inch per foot away from the house.
